hatwooooorld!
Hey, I'm just gonna start linking songs directly in these silly blog posts, OK? It's not like you can tell what's new on the music page. Is that cool? I hope that's cool. Today brings us some slight reorganization on the music page, in the form of a new album that I like to call "The Beautiful Sounds of Glorious Trainwrecks". Two new songs on that album -- The Spittunian Polka and Hatworld: World of Hats. (It sort of seems like inside jokes turned into music is my favourite kind of music, doesn't it?) // posted by Jeremy @ 9:58 PM Thursday, July 19, 2007
the alien zit (love theme from alien zit 2000)
Hey, a new song! Or, two, actually, now that I think of it. Finally! One is from the soundtrack to a videogame I'm writing, which is a remake of a terrible QBasic game that I wrote when I was eleven years old. The other is from the soundtrack to a musical I'm writing, which is an adaptation of the movie Twister. They're both pretty awesome. // posted by Jeremy @ 10:27 AM Friday, January 13, 2006
t-rex in: the shady history of ww2 shooters
So today I realized that I recorded a song about rapping dinosaurs a year and a half ago and never posted it! Say what? // posted by Jeremy @ 6:39 PM Saturday, March 05, 2005
guinness record?
Four new microsongs today, most notably a little ditty called "Fuck", which, in a 10 second interval, manages to contain 65 seperate utterances of that particular word. (Counting harmonizing, which I think is totally legitimate.) That one violated my foreign phrase generator rule, but I think the ends justify the means. // posted by Jeremy @ 6:14 PM Saturday, January 08, 2005
inspiration strikes
So, I wrote another six songs today, and am dumping them into a new concept album called "Microsongs". The rules are simple:

I haven't even gotten dressed yet woah
So, I wrote a song for Songfight. In half an hour. Vote for it when it shows up, because it will rock your existence to its very foundations. // posted by Jeremy @ 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 03, 2004
Not "bad" in the 80s sense of the word
I've tossed up some more new music on the music page. Among it: "3-String Guitar Blues", which is both the worst thing and most popular thing I've ever done. I've also put up some pretty instrumentals slated to go on my new album, "Her" and "Rain", as well as the original version of "Locked Out". Rounding off the set is a snippet of copyright-violatey goodness entitled "These Eyes" which really must be heard to be believed. // posted by Jeremy @ 6:42 PM |
